My Current Skin Care Routine (2017)

Acne wasn't my problem until my 3rd year in college came. I got a really bad breakout, no matter how much sleep I get, no matter how mild the products I use, they won't just go away. I used to have clear skin, that's why I wondered what brought out all the zits on my face. Eventually, they have lessened but the marks that they left plus the occasional showing up still bugs me. Came summer this year, I got zits again on the right side of my face. I was totally bummed because the timing wasn't just right. My boyfie came in the PH, and I got all these acne that ruined my self-confidence. I actually tried a lot of acne products, but they can't seem to help me out with my problem. I got fed up and ended up just letting my face stay the way it is. Until one day, while scrolling through my Facebook feed, I saw posts regarding people who suffered severe acne problems that used this particular soap which got me curious of the hype. There are a lot of good feedback so I think the product is effective. I went to check what soap is that, it's the Frontrow Soap #03. I was so desperate so I gave it a try. I felt stinging sensation on my first two weeks of use but only on the parts where there are acne. (Tiis ganda!) I think that's why it's effective because it totally flattened them after only a week of use. I also experienced micropeeling, it's not noticeable unless you look really closely in your face. I only noticed mine when I put powder. This soap is drying so you really need a good moisturizer after using it. This is really effective!! It's the solution to my acne problem. After trying a lot of acne products, this is the only one that worked for me. Thankfully, I am now acne-free. I'm just dealing with the marks left, but with continuous use of this soap I notice them slowly fading away too. This soap just works wonders. I just wish I found out about this product sooner!! All in all, it's worth the try and I think this will stay on my regimen.

I thought why not give it a try since my all time favorite toner (Belo Essentials Pore Refining Toner the pink one) isn't helping anymore with my problem. After two weeks of using, I can't really tell yet if it's effective since it's only a short time. In the review that I read, she already used it for two months so maybe after using for a long time, the result will be visible. I love how this toner gives me that fresh and cool feeling after every use. It literally feels cool, I tell you guys.

As I mentioned above, the soap that I'm using is drying so I need a good moisturizer to help me with it. I was actually supposed to buy Aloe Soothing Gel from The Face Shop, but they are out of stock. I go back everyday for a week just to check if it's already available, but unfortunately they took way too long to restock so I opted for a different brand. I accidentally found out that Bench has their own version of Aloe Soothing Gel too, what a coincidence right? So I just bought from them. I put this one in the refrigerator so it also feels cool after every use. I looooove this moisturizer!! I think this is now my holy grail product. It definitely helped out in making my skin condition better! It's a plus factor that Aloe Vera helps in lightening acne marks.

I'm an experimental person, I like trying out new products every now and then but this time I think I'll stick to these because they helped me get back my clear skin. For those of you wondering what my skin type is, I have a sensitive combination skin. I have oily skin on my T-zone and dry skin on my cheeks and temples. I'm just sharing with you guys what my regimen is, what works for me might now work for you. So use at your own risk. ♡
